You can find all kinds of different tours available for any age group and interest in our city program “StadtVerführungen” (most of them are only available in German, though).

The Riesen Inn's Maidservant
Who were the patrons of the oldest inn in Germany? Which stories can be told about the passage “d’amour”? Why do the princes’ beds have a canopy?
Learn all this and much more on the history of the town during a guided tour through Miltenberg’s crooked alleys with the inn’s maid.

A Speedy Tour of Miltenberg
For all those, who want to learn a bit of the town’s culture and history but do not have much time.
While we are standing in front of the Mildenburg castle the town spreads out like an open history book (“stationary tour”, no walking included).

Kleinheubach - Counts, Lords and Religion
Discover the town’s centre with its ancient imperial road, the Fahrgasse (ferryman’s alley) to the Main and its very special gems like the Baroque church with the organ made by master organ builder Dauphin. During the guided tour you will also learn about Jewish life and princely splendour.

Museum Stadt Miltenberg
Home, Art and History
Let the charme of the half-timbered houses enchant you. The buildings are more than 400 years old and host an exhibition telling you all about the history of the town and the region: Life and labour of the people of Miltenberg since the 16th century as well as exhibitions with a focus on Jewish cultural objects, weapons, glass, earthenware, toys, Romans and many others.
Awarded with the „Bayerischer Museumspreis“ („Bavarian museum award“).

River Main – Threat and Lifeline
