You can find all kinds of different tours available for any age group and interest in our city program “StadtVerführungen” (most of them are only available in German, though).

This tour takes you straight to the vines of the location Helferich on the northern shore of the Main river. You will learn about wine growing in the Churfranken area and taste a selection of wines with bread and cheese – right where the wine grows. This interesting tour provides you with amazing sights and insights.

During the stroll along and through the town, you will mainly learn about the Franconian wine – its history, its importance for Miltenberg and, of course, the local types of wine, especially here along the Main Square.
You will taste some of these wines, served with various types of local bread and a lot of knowledge and trivia about the wine. In the process you will get some unique information.

During a stroll through the beautiful wine growers’ town of Bürgstadt you will learn about the basics and peculiarities of growing wine in our region, as well as the history of and stories about the town. A stop at a winery gives you some insights into enology and the opportunity to taste a selection of wines.

Home, Art and History
Let the charme of the half-timbered houses enchant you. The buildings are more than 400 years old and host an exhibition telling you all about the history of the town and the region: Life and labour of the people of Miltenberg since the 16th century as well as exhibitions with a focus on Jewish cultural objects, weapons, glass, earthenware, toys, Romans and many others.
Awarded with the „Bayerischer Museumspreis“ („Bavarian museum award“).
